Borrego Community Health Foundation (BCHF) is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) Federally Qualified Health Center operating in San Diego and Riverside counties. BCHF tailors primary and preventive health programs to meet the health needs of men, women, children, adolescents and senior citizens in our surrounding communities, and those at risk of developing serious diseases such as diabetes. Without these and similar programs, many of the residents in this isolated desert region would have difficulty obtaining professional medical care.
Federally Qualified Health Center
FQHCs are community-based organizations that provide comprehensive primary care and preventive care, including health, oral, and mental health/substance abuse services to persons of all ages, regardless of their ability to pay or health insurance status.
