The Vaccines for Children (VFC) program is providing vaccines to eligible children 18 years of age and under, following the ACIP/AAP/AAFP pediatric immunization recommendations. Children eligible are those who are on Medicaid, have no insurance or are Native American/Alaska Natives. Since they are participants in the VFC program, eligible children receive vaccines at $14 per shot or donation accepted. Children under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or person who has the authority to give consent (a step-parent, adult relative of first or second degree kinship, or an adult child care provider who has care and control of the minor); please bring the child's current immunization record.

The Infectious Disease Clinic provides primary medical care for those people with HIV infection and consultation for people with other serious infections; serious infections involve the body, mind and spirit and no single care provider can deal with all aspects of this disease. So, the ID Clinic provides on-site access to mental health treatment and a variety of medical specialists for problems that are common among people with HIV infection. As well, social workers provide counseling, help in obtaining benefits, and coordinate care between Denver Health and other agencies/ institutions. Our outreach team provides additional assistance in the community and in the home for patients in need.  In addition, this clinic provides dental care for those with HIV.
