The Pee Dee Mental Health Center is one of seventeen Community Mental Health Centers in South Carolina operating under the auspices of the South Carolina Department of Mental Health (SCDMH). This center serves as the administrative office for mental health services provided by SCDMH in Florence, Darlington, and Marion counties. As part of the service delivery network of the SCDMH, this local office provides or will assist persons in obtaining a variety of mental health services and supports according to their assessed needs. The center has clinic based services, a multi-systemic therapy program, clinical training, out of home placement for children, local care services, client advocacy training and quality assurance. Major insurances are accepted, including Medicare and Medicaid. Staff are available to discuss payment plans for clients and their families.
