Service description:Free community clinic providing healthcare and dental services in an atmosphere designed to be welcoming to all. Healthcare includes diagnostic imaging/radiology; HIV testing; nutrition counseling; physical therapy; mental health counseling; periodic flu clinics; and periodic women's clinics that provide pap smears and breast exams. Alternative healthcare includes Reiki, massage therapy, herbal medicine, and imagery. Some healthcare services are provided through arrangements with partner providers in nearby locations. Dental clinic provides general dentistry services including cleaning and extractions. Program also assists in completion of forms for VHAP, Medicaid, RRMC free care program, Ladies First, Quit line, and Prescription Assistance Programs.
Eligibility:Adult Vermont residents whose family income is at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level who have no insurance of any kind, or who have catastrophic coverage with a $10,000 or higher deductible.
Relevant notes:Dental clinic does not perform root canals, but may be able to make a referral
Service hours:Healthcare Clinic - Tuesday and Thursday evenings and other times as needed by appointment; Dental Clinic - Thursday evenings by appointment
